Frequently asked questions

When did JUMP venues become BOUNCE?

All our venues received a makeover in December/January. Each JUMP location has now joined the BOUNCE Global Tribe. You’ll notice some new awesome features with the same friendly faces in our venues.

Will you be changing the activities that JUMP had on offer?

All our venues have received some exciting new BOUNCE additions including a Wall Climb arena, an X-Run/X-Park adventure challenge race and a dedicated miniBOUNCE Zone for the juniors. JUMP’s trampoline activities of basketball, dodgeball, and performance have stuck around for your freestyle fun, just with some fresh new BOUNCE branding.

Can I still use my JUMP grip socks?

Yes! You’ll be able to continue to use JUMP socks for the next twelve months before we changeover to BOUNCE socks only. This will give you a chance to wear out your old pairs and we’ll keep you updated on this change on our website. Please remember if they’re starting to look worn out and have a few holes, it’s probably time to grab yourself a new pair!

Are your ticket types the same?

Ticket type names have changed but you can still expect value-packed ticket types for your sessions including double hour fun, family sessions and more! All features will be included in the ticket price.

Do the new features cost more?

No, the new features will come at the same cost, with one price inclusive of all features.

What if I have a JUMP gift card or free pass?

All existing gift cards will be honoured.

Is the safety standard be the same?

Yes, safety has always been our priority and you can expect the same focus and commitment to ensuring that all our activities are conducted in a safe environment to the highest standard. We will remain NZ’s only safety certified Trampoline Park.

Is it not New Zealand owned now?

It is still New Zealand owned by the same owner with the same staff, just with a new Australian partner to bring new and exciting features to you.

Once you have decided which party package is right for you and have selected your date and time, complete our online application form. A $150 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirming your BOUNCE Party, with the full balance payable on the day.

I have a mixed age group, which party package do I book for?

If you have children who are under 110cm/ 5 years old and under + children who are over 110cm/over 5 years old, then you must book the Ultimate Party Package (miniBOUNCE Party Packages are exclusively for children under 110cm/5 years old and under).

Please keep in mind that all children who are under 110cm/5 years old or under must remain in our Mini BOUNCE Zone and the party host will stay with the older kids as they explore the general areas during the jumping time.

How many guests can I invite to a party?

BOUNCE parties require a minimum of 8 children. Extra children can be included for a per person price but numbers attending must be confirmed 7 working days prior to the date of the booking, there will be no refunds for no-shows on the day.

Our online booking system only allows up to 20 children in a party package to be booked, however we can cater to a maximum of 40 children so please contact our team here: at least 7 working days prior to the date of your party if you would like to book more than 20.

If I have less than 8 party guests, do I still need to pay for 8?

Yes – Even if there are less than 8 kids bouncing, the minimum payment of 8 still needs to be made.

Can I add/remove guests to a Birthday booking?

Yes – You have up to 7 working days before a party booking to make any amendments to your numbers. Adding guests is subject to availability so if you think you need to do this, let us know as soon as possible to secure the space. Removing guests can also be done, as long as the final numbers are provided 7 working days before the date of your party.

What if more/less children show up on the day of the party?

As stated in the BOUNCE terms and conditions, the final number of children you pay for and any extras you add on are unfortunately both non-refundable. If more children turn up on the day than you have booked for, let us know as soon as you arrive and we will do our best to accommodate them with jumping time however, we will be unable to provide additional catering and would recommend ordering food from our BOUNCE café cabinet.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my party? What if I need to reschedule my party?

As per our terms and conditions all BOUNCE bookings are non-refundable, this is also applied to Birthdays. If a party is cancelled 3+ weeks before the booking 50% of the original deposit will be refunded. Parties cancelled or moved within 3 weeks are not eligible to be refunded their deposit but will not be liable for the remainder of the balance. You may cancel or change the date of your party up to 7 working days prior to it, however, please note that your $150 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Any cancellations or date changes made within 7 working days of the party will be charge the full balance.

Have I left it too late to book a party?

We require a minimum of 7 working days’ notice to organize a BOUNCE Party, if you have less than 7 working days you can give us a call on 09 600 5397 but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your group for a party package booking. If you are unable to have a BOUNCE Party, we recommend booking a group for jumping time, but no party room or catering.

What time should I arrive for my party?

If you’ve got a party booked with us then there is no need to arrive much earlier than your start time as your check in and safety briefing time is built into the party structure.

Do I have to stay at the party with my child?

The birthday booking manager is required to stay at the party, but other adults are also welcome to stay and enjoy the fun if they want, but this is not mandatory.

Can we start the party in the party room?

No – Because we’ve found that full tummies and jumping don’t mix, our parties begin on the trampolines.

Can I have longer in the party room?

Party Packages include 40 minutes in the party room after jumping. If you would like more time, please contact our team here: at least 7 working days prior to the date of your party to discuss if the room is available and the additional charge.

Do you provide party room set up and clean up?

Absolutely! We will set up the party room and clean up afterwards so you can simply go home with the birthday child!

Do you provide party invitations?

Yes! Ultimate Party invitations are available for download here:

miniBOUNCE Party invitations are available for download here:

Can I decorate the room?

You are welcome to put up decorations in the room, we allow for table decorations and if there is anything for the walls this must only be attached with bluetac. No tape or staples are allowed. If walls (or party rooms) are damaged there can be a penalty fee of $50. No glitter or confetti.

Please keep in mind, we cannot always guarantee early access to the room to set up decorations due to the room being used prior to your party, however if you liaise with your Party Host on the day of your party, they may be able to arrange a time for you to decorate 5-10 minutes before the eating time.

Will we have to share the trampolines or party room with anyone else?

You will have your own party room with a dedicated party host. Half of the fun of the trampoline area comes from being able to jump across our huge expanse of trampolines and jumping into the huge foam pit, which you wouldn’t get if we gave you your own small section of trampolines, so for this reason you may be jumping with other members of the general public. However, if having the place to yourself is something you would like, exclusive private hire is available, please contact our team here: for these rates.

What times are parties available?

We are open 7 days a week and offer parties from 9:40am until 3:40pm (excluding public holidays where parties are available until 2:40pm). Please be aware that the demand for parties at weekends are high and we therefore recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

If a child has allergies, please contact our team here: to arrange to bring in your own meal just for the allergic child (no hot or fast food allowed).

Can adults jump with the children?

Yes! However, parents are not included in the party package, so it is essential that adults who wish to jump book a general admission ticket with the party booking. BOUNCE parks have a capacity and sessions often book out, so it is important to book in advance.

Can my guests jump for more than an hour?

You and your guests are welcome to book extra jumping time for an additional charge. All jumping is scheduled before eating.

Can I include jump time for children who are not included in the package?

It is essential to purchase an admission ticket with the party booking for any children who are not included in the party package. BOUNCE parks have a maximum capacity and sessions often book out. These guests are welcome to join the party in the party room afterwards, but the party package food is not included in their admission.

You are welcome to purchase additional adult platters for your party to cater for guests who are not included in the package.

Can I have extra guests in the party room who are not included in the package?

Certainly! You are allowed to bring a parent with you. However, depending on the room that has been booked, it is recommended to have one parent per child to ensure everyone can fit comfortably.
