FLIGHT SQUAD

FOR AGES 8+

Flight Squad is a trampoline based development program designed for all levels to learn freestyle trampoline skills and tricks. It combines dedicated coaching time and trampolining technique into a fun and challenging program.

The aim of Flight Squad is to build correct technique, whether participants are beginners or experienced gymnasts. Classes provide a solid basis to progress onto more advanced dynamic movement skills relevant to any sport or physical activity.

Flight Squad balances fun, skills progression and development, in a social and inclusive environment. The program develops and harnesses balance, strength, coordination and agility through the lens of freestyle sport.

CLASS DETAILS

● Flight Squad is available at all venues
● Classes are 60 minutes and run at 4pm and 5pm every Wednesday during the School term (10 weeks)
● The program is for ages 8+
● The program costs $18.00* per class
● Classes will begin on Wednesday the 7th of February 2024

(Classes will not run on public holidays)

class structure

Structured one-hour classes, Flight Squad participants will learn how to master the fundamentals of trampoline skills, progressing onto more advanced freestyle skills safely.

Classes begin with a warm up, before moving onto dedicated coaching time and independent practice on trampolines as well as other equipment.

Trained coaches spend time with each participant, guiding them through correct form to build technique. Coaches will focus on individual skills, progressing into routines which incorporate flips, doubles, twists and layouts.

By joining the BOUNCE Flight Squad, participants develop friendships and social skills while keeping healthy and active. Participants learn how to navigate physical and mental challenges in a safe and supportive environment.
